Leonardo Di Caprio Arrives in Costa Rica

Leonardo Di Caprio, from the United States, arrived in Costa
Rica on Sunday with his girlfriend, Brazilian top model Giselle
Bundche. The couple is visiting a beach on the Pacific
coast. After his arrival in Costa Rica, Di Caprio traveled
to Malpaís, on the Nicoya Peninsula, 270 kilómeters
south east of San José. When the local media caught
them on video at the open air cinema while Bunchen smiled
several times in the direction of the camera, DiCaprio tried
to hide his face.
They're
vacationing at a small beach resort in Santa Teresa, trying
to relax and rest before the Oscars. This area has
been Costa Rica's and Hollywood's best kept secret for more
than 15 years, but thanks the media and celebrities like Madonna,
the Red Hot Chilly Peppers, Gwynet Platrow getting "cought
on tape" it has quickly become one of the fastest growing
destinations in the country. A risising trend we've seen in
other beaches that are much more developed. But fine dinning
and close distance to airports aren't the only reasons American
celebrities are becoming regulars in this specific area. Is
s the nature and the surf they are after.
Locals
say its not the first time the couple has been in the area.
It is rummored by those in the know that Leo already has a
house and has been asking neighbours for surf tips. Giselle
Bunchen said in and interview that her dream is " to
be monkey living in Costa Rica". She is in love with
Malpais "it is beutiful and we are having a wonderfull
time". Lets hope that they do their part at preserving
the area.
